Today was much fun.

Drums, then I hung around, getting in contact with Jen Muscarello for the Statistics project. At 4:30 I went to Annie's house, then we went to Zach's. The 3 of us walked down to the beach, and then to a nice big rock. We went in the water, which was ice cold. Then we chilled out, warming up on the rock and chatting. And I flashed Zach. Twice. But he didn't see either time. Then Melissa Doskotz came, and we went back to his house. Annie and I went to get pizza, Mel and Zach went to get graham crackers, chocolate, marshmallows, etc. We had dinner, but my fucking tooth broke when I was eating the pizza. So I have a broken tooth again. Gay. Anyway, then Justin came. We grabbed the fire pit from Zach's pool area and decided to load it into Zach's car, then drive to the beach. It didn't quite fit, so the trunk was open and I had to hold the bowl of the pit in the car. We drove down a driveway, because there's no actual road to the beach, then realized it's too far to bring the fire pit, so we drove across the Engel's yard and then down across the other neighbor's yard to get to the beach. We drove like through a few trees, it was hilarious. Right when we get there, we see a set of headlights coming across the grass, towards us. We're like "oh fuck" but it was Mr. Engel, and Zach told him why we were here, and he was fine with it. So we brought the shit to the beach, and found a pad of paper in the back of Zach's car to go with the firewood we brought, but it was really windy. We used straw on the beach, so we could keep the fire going. Then we decided to move the fire pit down the beach a bit, but the fire was already going, so Justin and I grabbed either side of the metal bowl, and just carefully walked it over. While we were walking it over, a gust of wind showered Justin in hot embers, so we dropped the bowl right there. So we got that going. Unfortunately, Annie and I had to leave at like 10:30. :-\

But it was really fun. A good day overall. :)

Coffeehouse was great. Great bands, great time. Zach Fuhrer is amazing, Rigor Penis is hella talented, MG2 was great. Good times were had by all. It also made me want to play drums more. I don't play enough, though I definitely will play more now and into the summer. And I need/desperately want a double pedal, because it's cheaper and uses less space than a second bass drum.

For Annie, Ghost is a simple word game that goes like this. One person starts by writing a letter. Then you go around, each person adding a letter either to the beginning or the end of the string. When you add a letter, if it forms a full word, you get an out. Outs are like in Horse, you get a letter, except with the word Ghost. Each out you get a letter, and if you get 5 letters, G-H-O-S-T, you're out. Now while you can't form a full word, the string has to be in a word. Like a word can be made if we were to continue going around. 1 and 2 letter words don't count. Here's a brief example.

At no point was this a real word, but at all times it could form a word (queer, queen, etc.). Now if it's your turn, and you think the person before you is bluffing, you can challenge them. When you challenge them, they have to name a word that can be formed. If they do, you get an out. If they can't, they get an out. Whoever gets an out starts off the next round.

So if the word combination is up to PHTH, and you can't think of a word, you can challenge the person before you. If he comes up with a real word (ophthalmologist, ophthalmologists, ophthalmology, ophthalmologies), you get an out and start the next word.

I want to design a new site. I've probably said this here a dozen times. I don't know what I want it to look like. I'll probably draw some ideas over the next few weeks, and punch it out in the early summer. I also want to beat GH2 on Expert. 28/40, I'm stuck on Rock This Town. Without HOPOs, it's near impossible.

And I want this school year to end. 11 days of school left, 10 not counting senior cut day. :)

In other random shit, I'm getting better at ghost. I won against Lucas, Jake, and Tommy Boutin. I knew eyre, they didn't give it to me. >:o But it doesn't matter. Yay.

I beat GH2 on Hard mode. :) Took me 4 tries to beat Free Bird, but I got through it.

Having to hit select for star power makes it a lot harder. I would imagine so would not being able to do HO/POs, but I never did in the first place so I'm not used to that.
